Grand Bear Lodge & home (day 4)

We stayed for awhile on Sunday so we could go to the amusement park and water park at the resort. Ali (and the big kids) enjoyed the rides and water! We got home around 11 pm last night. Grandma left this morning, I don't think we could've made it without her! It was a nice family week-end. . .

Wedding Day (day 3)

The wedding ceremony was under this huge tree.

Ali almost made it down the isle by herself, but when the little ring bearer got scared and cried she decided to walk with daddy instead.

Saturday afternoon was the wedding. Ali started running a fever the day before and was out of sorts. She cried most of the day and was very tempermental. We did not think she was going to make it to the wedding. We dressed her in her flower girl gown and took her for pictures at the park before the wedding. She cried the whole way there. . .as soon as we made it to the park, she stopped crying and did fine the rest of the day! She loved her "princess dress" and spun around the park, she knew she was special in her dress.

Family Reunion

Aunt Kristen, Uncle Corey, Uncle Demian, Ali, Cash, Slade, & Jagger. It was great to finally meet the twins!

Grandma Vela

We did some hiking. . .it was very beautiful. . .

On Friday night there was a pig roast & family get together at Mathison State Park. They had a ladderball tournament and we did some hiking. . .there was a nice turn out! It was great to visit with the family we don't get to see very often.

Illinois (day 2)

We did some sightseeing around LaSalle County. This is Grandma & Ali at the IM canal in LaSalle.

We took a boat ride down the canal as they did in the 1850's, being pulled by a mule on the tow path next to the canal.

Buffalo Rock State Park in Utica. This is where the wedding was held.

We visited a historical museum in Utica and an old schoolhouse as it was in the 1850's.

Trip to Illinois (day 1)

Thursday we headed to Illinois for Erin's wedding. Grandma agreed to go with us. The kids did great in the truck on the way there...no major meltdowns!
