Ali's 3rd Birthday

Today was Ali's 3rd birthday! We started out this morning with 3 candles on pancakes for breakfast & then had a big party with our family and friends this evening. Grandma made us homemade ice cream and we had a Dora cake that Ali picked out all by herself.

Afternoon at PawPaw & Grandma's

Today we spent the afternoon at PawPaw & Grandma's house. . .Bret, LoLo, Zach, Ali, & Lily. . . we had a great day! We threw rocks & walnuts in the pond (Ali's favorite), went on a nature walk and raked a big pile of leaves to play in. Lily got to crawl around outside and really enjoyed playing in the leaves. Ali always loves a visit to PawPaw & Grandma's, I think it is her favorite thing to do!

Yesterday we babysat Jack. . .

This is Lily eating a popcicle. . .it was very exciting for her, she loved it but it also made her cry. She would pick it up by the wrong end and her hand would get cold & she would cry, then she would turn it around the right way and be very happy! She was mad and happy at the same time. It was hilarious!

Busy Day

This morning we went to Leavenworth, KS to do some car shopping. . .we spent most of the day over there looking at cars and did a little sight-seeing as well. This evening we watched Marcus & Aiden from across the street while Mike & Kim went out to dinner. Ali & I left briefly for gymnastics, she did so-so. . .she started out following directions really well & then took a turn! Aiden was a bit fussy and we pushed him around in the stroller the whole time his parents were gone!

We had a great Halloween! PawPaw & Grandma came up and Uncle Mike & kids came over as well (Aunt Al had to work tonight)...we spent the afternoon carving pumpkins which turned out quite good (to our surprise)! Ali really enjoyed "tricking tricking" especially with LoLo. Erin dropped by for a visit and so did Aunt Susan & kids which Ali really enjoyed! Lily Lou had no idea what was going on but was a pretty good sport.

Dot Com

Ali with her new big coloring book

Lily climbing the stairs

Lily in the toy box. . .she throws all the toys out. . .!
In the last few days Ali has been saying "Max & Ruby...dot com" or "Caillou...dot com", she adds "dot com" to many things. This afternoon on the way to the store she said "I want to go to Halloween, dot com, Mom!" She also refuses to say that she is "2". . .at the store she did NOT want to ride in the cart. I said, "I'm not going to argue with you, you are 2" she replied "I'm not 2, mom, I'm 3!" Little Lily is trying to get a couple more teeth on the top, they have had her a bit upset this week.
