Blowing out the candles!

This morning Matt & I went for a motorcycle ride, a benefit for Safe Home for abused children. We left at 9:30 in the morning and got home around 7 pm. . .We started out in KC, then went to Weston, Atchison, KS; St.Joseph, Plattsburg, Excelsior Springs & home(160 miles). . .Aunt Susan, Eric, & Sara watched the kids for the first half of the day, then Aunt Al & LoLo took the second shift.

When we got home, the house was decorated with balloons, streamers, & flowers. . .thanks to Aunt Susan & kids. They also made a birthday cake (Ali helped with this & sang Happy Birthday to Mama while making it). . .when we got home Ali could not wait to get me in the house and show me the cake, she was very proud. Tonight we ate pizza with Uncle Mike, Aunt Al & kids. . .Lily is pooped out and went straight to bed. Zach had to help with a Young Life event tonight so I didn't get to see him today : ( otherwise, it was a great birthday.
