We Love The Pool!

Uncle Mike & LoLo came over today & we spent the afternoon at the pool.

This afternoon my friend Lisa came over to see the girls. I haven't seen her in WAY too long. We left the girls home with daddy and went to dinner at Bravo in Zona Rosa. What a nice time we had catching up and talking about old times.

Tonight we went over to Uncle Mike & Aunt Al's to listen to Al give her presentation that she's giving tomorrow in philosophy class on skepticism......she did a good job!

Another evening at the pool....Ali fell & busted her top lip! She's fine but it did hurt....she's had 3 popsicle's so far tonight..........hopefully the swelling will be down by tomorrow.

Today Grandma, Bret & Lauren came over & we spent the afternoon at the pool. It was very HOT! The water was refreshing.

Michael was my first true love! What a sad day....I dug out my old Thriller album (too bad I don't have a record player)...

Tonight we stayed at the pool until 10pm....it's a great way to wear Ali out! She sleeps very well after swimming.

Today Lily is 5 months old....she's rolling all over the place and beginning to babble....she wants to sit up, but hasn't quite figured that out yet.

Bret & Lauren became Jr Park Rangers for the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park....these are their badges...

Paw Paw, Grandma, Bret, & Lauren returned from their trip tonight around 9pm. We ran over to their house to see them. Ali was very excited, she jumped into her PJ's & slipper's & we were off to see Bret & LoLo.....they have been gone for 10 days and have done many things. They visited the Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Yellowstone, & the Grand Tetons (and much more).

Today daddy took Ali & Lily to the pool with Uncle Demian, Jessica, & Jack. Lily stayed in the shade while Ali played in the pool. (No pics, I was home sleeping)

Hot Day

Our air conditioner is still broken (will be fixed in the morning, hopefully!) so me & the girls sweat it out at home the first half of the day, then went to Aunt Al & Uncle Mike's house for the rest of the day. Uncle Mike took Ali to Wal-Mart and spoiled her with new toys, lip gloss and candy! Lily got a few new toys, too.

I spoke with Lauren today...they are in Yellowstone and having a great time. Today they went to Old Faithful...tomorrow they are going to the Grand Tetons. Ali could not understand why LoLo was not at her house!

Dinner With Zach

Nana came over to babysit while Matt & I met Zach for dinner in Lee's Summit...
