Mother's Day at World's of Fun

Ali was worn out!

Today we went to World's of Fun for Mother's Day. . .we went with the Bierle's. Zach & Josh were both here today. Ali had a great time riding all the little rides. Lily did pretty good but did not want to stay in her stroller. We all rode the Mamba & the big kids (& Mike & Matt) rode everything! It started to rain & got pretty cool so the girls left & the guys stayed to ride in the rain.

Saturday

Daddy is at work today. . .Lauren has spent the day with us. She is a BIG help with Ali! Aunt Al came by this afternoon & we took the kids to Burger King. They played in the play area for awhile then we shopped a little. This afternoon we have been playing outside. Ali has started calling Lauren "Laurnen" instead of LoLo. She also repeats everything you say and speaks in complete sentences sometimes. She has also started referring to herself as "Ali Bela".

We stopped by to see Uncle Demian for a few minutes after dinner. . .

The Liberty School District had an orchestra concert this evening at William Jewell College. It was grades 5-12. There were 750 kids playing! At the end, they all played a song together & it was pretty good! PawPaw & Grandma came up for the concert. We went to dinner after to celebrate for Mother's Day.

This afternoon we went for a picnic in the park. . .

Lily tried the swing with Ali. . .she liked it for a little bit. . .

then. . .not so much!

After the park we went to Babies R Us & Toys R Us in search of a new stroller or wagon. . .

We walked around the neighborhood this evening. . .

This morning PawPaw dropped Grandma off at our house on his way to pick up Bret to go to Kirksville to see a concert. We spent the day playing with the kids. . .we ate lunch on the deck & planted a few flowers. . .Uncle Mike & LoLo dropped by after spending the day at Worlds of Fun. Aunt Al dropped by & took LoLo to see the new Hannah Montana movie. . .Brent dropped by because he left his phone in my car last night. . .he took the girls for a walk around the neighborhood. . .Bret & PawPaw made it back from Kirksville. . .they had a great time. Now we're winding down, ready for bed. . .Ali is trying to get Grandma to take her shoes off because she does not want her to leave!

Tonight Matt watched the kids so I could go out on the town for Erin's birthday. . .we ate at Abuelo's in Zona Rosa then went to Harrah's. Brent & Mike met us down there & we had a good time. Mike won at blackjack & Al won at Roulette. . .I lost. Oh, well. . .it was fun to hang out.......
