Spring Break

Zach is home for spring break. . .Ali follows him everywhere when he's home! She loves Zach!

We had a very busy but uneventful day yesterday. . .daddy was at work. . .tonight I'm off to work. . .

What a day. . .

Today has been quite a day. . .this morning Ali & I drove down to Archie to PawPaw & Grandma's house. Lily stayed home with daddy. We spent the afternoon playing outside in the woods. We climbed some trees, picked up sticks, threw walnuts in the pond, & found an owls nest with baby owls. It was too high up to see very good, but we saw the mother owl fly from the nest then sit in a tree near by & watch the nest while we were close by. Ali also enjoys Sonic (the dog) & Mr. C (the cat). Ali napped for about an hour on the drive home. . .

She was then revived of energy and we all went to the park. . .Ali & daddy played on the slide & swings while Lily & I walked laps around the park. . .Ali spotted a kid with a McDonalds bag at the park. . .so, after the park we were off to McDonalds. . .

Daddy took Ali to gymnastics this morning & then for a ride on his motorcycle. . .the girls and I have spent the entire day outside. . .it is in the 70s today. . .

Shoe-Sock Song

Ali has written her first song. . .this is just a small sample of the song. . .it goes like this..."Shoe sock shoe shock shoe sock shoe sock. . .bye-bye!"

Bus

Ali loves this book. . .it has a school bus & kids. . .she loves to watch the kids get on & off the bus out our back window. . .she waves & says "bye kids". . .Grandma taught her the song "The Wheels on the Bus Go Round & Round" so she always sings this song when she looks at this book.

Ali loves this purse from Aunt Susan. . .notice her fingernail polish is in the purse!

On Sunday, while Matt was at work, me & the kids went over to Susan's parents house for spaghetti. Ali enjoyed playing with her big cousins. . .and the dog's toys! She was so upset when we left she would not take off her coat & boots for about an hour after we got home. I worked on Monday night & Matt was home alone with the children. Lily has been a bit fussy for the last few days, it seems like she has a tummy ache. Ali & daddy went to Sam's Club today. . .tonight we're trying to relax. . .
