Today started with rain then sleet & now snow! Matt is at work & Lily & Ali & I have been inside all day. . .we watched MU lose to UCONN. . .disappointing. . .but MU played a good game & had a great season!
Today Lily had her first immunizations. . .it was so sad, she was smiling and cooing and had no idea what was about to happen. . .Ali got to go to Marcus's house while I took Lily to the doctor. Lily weighs 11 pounds & is 23.5 inches.
Today, me & the girls went down to Crown Center to see the Wizard of Oz exhibit. . .we stopped at Babies 'R Us on the way to get Ali a harness (leash) because I was not sure I could manage her and push the stroller at the same time! She did not want to wear it at first, but it is Elmo, so she decided to let me put it on her. We went to see Aunt Al at work and she got to play with Ali some in the land of Oz. . .Ali was freaked out by the wicked witch. . . then we headed down to the fire station to see daddy at work. Ali was SO happy to see her daddy.
This lady was wearing a skelt. . .half skirt, half belt. . .
Last night Matt & I went to see "Liverpool", a Beatles cover band, at the Arat Temple with Paul & Susan & kids and Mike & Al. Nana watched the girls. They were pretty good. I must admit I'm not a big Beatles fan, but they did sing a lot of songs that I knew, but did not know they were Beatles songs (Al didn't either!)
Today Ali has been playing with 2 bags of ramen noodles and a can of mushrooms all day! We have worked on her numbers, letters, and colors today. . . she knows the whole alphabet (upper case) & we're starting on lower case, she knows all the colors, & numbers 1-10.
