New Year's Eve

Tonight Ali & I went over to Aunt Al & Uncle Mike's for a New Year's Eve get-together. Ali had a great time playing with Bret, Lauren, & Josh. Daddy had to work : ( We left the party early but Ali is so wound up we'll definitely be ringing in the new year together.

Monday....

Tonight we went to dinner with Mike & Al & the kids. Josh is up for a few days & Zach is here too! We ate at Arthur Bryant's at Ameristar. Al & I gambled for only 10 minutes after dinner & I won 17 dollars. Al lost 5 (but she won 600 the other night!) The kids played in the arcade.

Saturday

Today Ali got to spend the day with Uncle Demian running errands. She also helped him clean his house. While Uncle Demian was entertaining Ali, Matt & I went out to eat & hung out alone for a few hours. She was pooped out when she got home.

Ali loves daddy's new remote control helicopter from Paul & Susan & family. . .(daddy loves it too!)

Today PawPaw & Grandma dropped by for a visit. They brought us left-overs from Christmas. Ali is still a bit puny but better than yesterday. Tonight Mike & Al & the kids are coming by to share the left-overs from Christmas. It was 64 degrees here today, unbelievable after snow 2 days ago. Matt & I took Ali for a walk around the neighborhood because it was so nice.

Christmas Evening

Lolo playing Wii. . . her DS was her favorite gift. . .
This evening Aunt Al & the kids came over to play their new Monolopy game for Wii. Ali is a bit puny and feverish which just started this afternoon. She was pointing at her ear and saying "ear, ear". I gave her some ibuprofen and she took a long nap, but the fever returned this evening. Another dose of ibuprofen and she was back to playing. We'll probably need to take her to the doctor tomorrow just in case she's getting an ear infection.

We had a nice time last night at PawPaw & Grandma's. The kids got lots of presents and grandma prepared some great food. We were so glad that Nana & Uncle Demian joined us. During church Grandma sat in the choir and Ali saw her up there and yelled "AaaMa, AaaMa" pointing at Grandma. Everyone laughed, it was a cute moment. Today daddy is at work so Ali & I are playing with all her new toys. . .
