Decorating for Christmas

Uncle Mike, Uncle Demian & daddy are not helping decorate. They are watching football as usual! They did haul all the boxes up from the basement though. . .

Left-overs

Last night after all the Thanksgiving festivities, Paw Paw & Grandma went home. Reluctantly we allowed Zach to take the other children (Bret, Lauren & Josh) to Blockbuster to rent some games for the XBox & then to Mike & Al's to play. On the way, they ran out of gas. It was only about 6 miles to their destination but Zach's gas gauge does not work. Uncle Mike took them some gas and everything was fine. At midnight, Al & I went to Zona Rosa to shop and get some great bargains along with about a million other people. It was chaotic but fun. We did get some good deals but had to wait in line to get into the stores and then wait in line again to pay. The lines were enormous! We only went to 4 stores and were finished by 3am. Today Matt is working and Ali & I are recuperating from Thanksgiving and enjoying the left-overs.

Thanksgiving Prep

Today we are getting prepared for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Grandma came up this morning to do all the work. Bret & Lauren are here for the day also since they did not have school & Mike & Al both had to work. Ali really enjoys all of this company. She also loves grandma's heels. Zach & Josh also showed up this afternoon. Zach drove up from Harrisonville and little Josh drove all the way from Nixa by himself!

Pen

Ali loves to write with a pen. It must be a pen, not a crayon! Tonight daddy went to the basketball tournament again with Uncle Demian. Ali & I went over to Aunt Al & Uncle Mike's to play with LoLo. Lauren had a friend over and Ali played with them like a big girl. They played school. Then we went to eat with the Bierle family. Tonight Ali, Lauren, Aunt Al & I went to the grocery store to pick up some items for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.

Hat & 2 Purses

Daddy went to a basketball game tonight with Uncle Demian & Zach at the Sprint Center. Ali is in a much better mood. Tonight she has her hat and 2 purses and is pushing her little cart around the couch saying "bye bye".

Picture Day

This afternoon we took Ali for her 2 year/Christmas pictures. She was terrible!! She would not cooperate at all. The guy did end up getting some pretty good shots anyway. We took her to Burger King after so she could play in the play area but she would not even do that. Now she is down for a nap. Her face in this picture pretty much sums up her attitude for the day.

Marcus

This morning we babysat Marcus for awhile. He was here before Ali woke up, so when she did wake up and Marcus was here, it was very exciting for her. The excitement wore off fast when Marcus tackled her and hit her several times. However, overall they did play pretty well together.

Family

This morning daddy took Ali to gymnastics, then Paw Paw & Grandma came over. Grandma took Lauren to her eye Dr appointment & Paw Paw & Zach babysat Ali while Matt & I went to an appointment. Ali fell asleep on the couch next to Paw Paw. Bret, Grandma & Zach played Guitar Hero. Tonight we all went to eat at the Chinese restaurant (except Matt who stayed home to watch Illinois basketball). Ali was covered in sweet & sour sauce & was eating it by the spoonful (yuck). Some of these pictures are blurry. I got a new camera & I haven't got it figured out yet, but I'm working on it.
